David and Andrew Reinecker

 

This family business knows agriculture,
and is ready to serve you well into the 21st century!



1977:  David graduated from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College);
        - returned to the family farm in Pennsylvania, working with his father
        - started his own swine finishing operation
        - began his involvement with the local and state Pork Producers’ Councils.

1983:  David started Reinecker Ag Products as a broker for livestock watering equipment for
          Noland Systems, Inc.

1985:  The Pork All-American award is given to David for outstanding accomplishments as a producer,
           and he began his involvement with the National Pork Producers’ Council;  David and his wife, Cheryl,
           are regional winners of the Farm Bureau's Outstanding Young Farmer and Rancher Award.

1987 – 1990:  David served as president of the Pennsylvania Pork Producers’ Council.

1993:  Reinecker Ag Products was named #1 in sales nationally for Noland Systems for the first time.

1993 – 1994:  David was elected and served as president of the Pork Industry Group of the
                     National Livestock and Meat Board.

1997 – 2000:  David was again elected president of the Pennsylvania Pork Producers’ Council.

1998:  David started a purebred feeder pig operation.

2001:  David started his own cattle operation, as his father liquidated his livestock assets.

2004:  Andrew graduated from McDaniel College, joined Reinecker Ag Products, and started his own
         cattle operation.

2005:  Andrew's brother, Jonathan, graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, is employed locally in
          agribusiness, but assists as needed concerning farm equipment maintenance, machine technology,
          and special farm projects.

2006:  David purchased the family farm from his parents’ estate.
 
2010:  David and his wife, Cheryl, are named Mid-Atlantic Master Farmers by American Agriculturist and the
          Cooperative Extension Services. 



 






Both David and Andrew are currently certified by the USDA for Pork Quality Assurance.
